Welcome! Here you will find all of my prayer letters written ever since I started the ministry as a Missionary to Honduras, and then as I now am as a Missionary to the Spanish-Speaking People of the Americas. We hope to update this with our current prayer letter that we send out every two months.

November 2005

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus our Lord,

November has been a very exciting month full of activities and service.  Sometimes I feel I’m doing too much as I find myself always exhausted.  But it’s worth it as we’re seeing God work in a mighty way here in Honduras.

The 5th, we had our last Bible Institute class of the year.  I taught on the Life of Christ and Bibliology.    My students did well on their final exams and were very thankful for what they learned.

We had an outside cookout for the young people of the church the same day and ate hot dogs and marshmallows.  They really enjoyed it!

The 12th, we had a church wedding.  Leonidas and Silveria, who have already five children, desired to be wed for a good Christian testimony, after almost a year of being saved.  Missionary Mike Lane married them and most of our church members were in attendance.

The next day we had a baptism.  The newlyweds were among those baptized.  I brought some from Quebrada de Lajas where I’m working and in total we baptized fourteen people!

Missionary Mike Lane left on forlough for the United States the following day, and left me in charge of the work, as well as the building project.  We have the walls up, the rafters, and the concrete floor in our new chapel.  All we lack is connecting the lights and water, putting on a roof, installing the doors, windows, and gates, and putting down a ceramic floor.  Please pray for this endeavor.

My wife has to leave Honduras every three months, as she doesn’t have her official residence here yet.  So, on the 25th we journeyed to Guatemala and stayed a few days and passed out tracts.  We also visited several tourist spots, including the ancient Mayan Indian Ruins of Tikal and the Spanish Castle of San Felipe.  We had a great time, and enjoyed a good “mini-vacation.”

Thanks again for all your continued prayers and support.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I thank God for you all and for all your giving to help the ministry here in Honduras!

Because of Christ Jesus our Most Blessed Lord and Saviour,
