Welcome! Here you will find all of my prayer letters written ever since I started the ministry as a Missionary to Honduras, and then as I now am as a Missionary to the Spanish-Speaking People of the Americas. We hope to update this with our current prayer letter that we send out every two months.

March - April 2005

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Greetings once again!  I hope you are walking in the joy and admiration of Him who loved you enough to die for you.  The Lord has richly blessed these past two months.

On March 6th, Luisa Lopez trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life in church service at my house.

A week later I journeyed with some men from our little church in Quebrada de Lajas to visit Congolon, Honduras.  It was there that the famous Indian Chief Lempira died fighting the Spanish Catholic Conquistadors who were trying to put his people in bondage.  We passed out tracts there and in the towns of Erandique and Gracias.

Our Bible Institute started again on March 12th.  This time we are meeting at my house.  There are 14 students.  I am teaching two classes: Evangelism and Preacher and His Problems.

On March 14th, I led a 53 year old man to the Lord named Gamilo Gomez Garcia at the local jail in La Esperanza.  A Medical Brigade came from the states, and I worked with them for two days translating for the doctors.  While checking everyone’s vision, I won Mr. Gomez to the Lord, helping him to see — both physically and spiritually!

Easter Sunday I brought the two churches I’m working with together at my house.  We ate dinner on the grounds after the preaching, and the people were very excited.

March 28th, Missionary Robert Baker and I witnessed to twenty two year old Bessy Zelaya.  She attended a Baptist Church for many years but never trusted Christ Jesus as her Saviour.  (There are many people like that).  After a half hour, I led her to the saving knowledge of the truth through her faith in the precious blood.

On April 10th, I married the most wonderful young lady in the whole world — Laura Beth Flood.  Brother Buddy Maynard (from the Heritage Boys Home) performed the ceremony at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Panama City, Florida.  After the “I do’s,” he handcuffed us.  We laughed because the word for spouses in Spanish is the same word for handcuffs.

March and April were very fruitful months with souls saved.  And God finally answered all of your prayers by blessing me with a real jewel of a wife!  Please pray for us as we are currently selling most of our stuff on Ebay before returning to Honduras the beginning of May.   Missionary Mike Lane is preaching for me while I’m away.  Please pray for him also.

As always, thanks again for your continued prayers and support!

Because He paid it all on Calvary’s tree,

            Robert Breaker III
