Welcome! Here you will find all of my prayer letters written ever since I started the ministry as a Missionary to Honduras, and then as I now am as a Missionary to the Spanish-Speaking People of the Americas. We hope to update this with our current prayer letter that we send out every two months.

November - December 2011

For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.    (Acts 17:21)
            Greetings from the Breakers,
The above verse speaks of the Athenians and how they sought only after those things which were “new.” Because of this, I used to think all things “new” were always bad.  I’m “old school” and don’t like modern things at all. That’s why I’m so tired of the “NEWS.”  It’s always bad news, and hardly ever good!  (Like my grandfather used to say, “All the news media is for is to scare old ladies!  That’s about it).
But over the years, I’ve learned that not everything “new” is bad.  Sometimes there really are some new things that are good.  And these last two months I’ve been blessed with some of them.  So here’s the NEWS from the Breakers.
NEW YEAR
Well, happy New Year everybody!  It’s hard to believe it’s 2012 already, the year the ancient Mayans said would be our last.  (Like a friend said to me jokingly, “Happy New Year in the last year of your life!”)  But who knows what this year will truly hold.  Hopefully, it will bring peace, righteousness, and the salvation of many souls to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  All I know is that last year (2011) brought a lot of violence (with the Muslim uprisings), a lot of wickedness (with the Occupy crowd and their defecating on police cars), and a lot of people turning away from the truth of the Gospel.  Yet, we did see some blessings last year.
NEW DAUGHTER
The 18th of November, God blessed us with a new baby girl.  Yep, another girl!  We named her Elyse Lillian Trapp Breaker.  She was a little late, but she came when God wanted her to.  We feel so blessed with our new child, and thank God for his blessing us with such a healthy baby.  Thanks again for all your prayers for Laura during her pregnancy!
NEW COMPUTER
Sometimes something bad happens just so that something good can come out of it.  At least that’s what happened to me.  In November, my old computer burnt up.  I was devastated!  My whole life and ministry is on that thing.  Luckily, we were able to retrieve everything.  (I highly recommend Carbonite.com!).  And because it happened before Thanksgiving, I took advantage of Black Friday and was able to get a new laptop at a very low price!  I’ve since got it up and running and have been busy writing new tracts, new articles, new books, etc.
NEW TRACT
I’m enclosing my new Gospel tract with this prayer letter entitled, “Got Forgiveness?”  (It’s a play on words from the old ad: “Got Milk?”)  I hope it will be a blessing to you.  Every religion on earth claims to be the only one that can grant people the forgiveness of their sins (Except Satanism, of course, which encourages people to sin even more).  However, RELIGION can’t offer anyone forgiveness.  In fact, religion is the enemy of the Gospel.  It was the religious crowd that killed Jesus Christ!  So forgiveness does not come from a church, a priest, a ritual, or a vain religious prayer.  It comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ, and faith alone in his blood atonement!
NEW BOOK
My book “What the BIBLE SAYS About Marriage Divorce, and Remarriage,” is now available on my online bookstore.  I’m supposed to get 100% of the royalties on each copy sold, so buying a copy is a good way to help support our ministry.   We hope more people we get a hold of the great truth of Marriage being a type of Christ and the Church, which is what I portray in my book.  We’ve already seen many marriages fixed among Hispanics who’ve read it in Spanish, and we hope for the same in this English edition.
NEW WEBSITE
My Dad’s old website needed to be renewed.  I decided I’d do so and redo it in order to remember Dad, and to keep his writings online.  Also, I figured I’d use it for myself as well.  If you desire to see it, it is:  www.robertbreaker.com.  My old website is still www.rrb3.com and with my new computer, I’ve been able to update it as well, and also add a lot of stuff about the Spanish Bible.  I’m getting a lot of readers and a lot of good feedback.   More and more are learning that the Valera 1602 Purified is indeed the best Spanish Bible.
NEW BLOG
My wife is so frugal and so good with coupons and ways to save money.  With the many tricks I learned from her, I decided to make a new blog.  It can be found at:  www.savemulah.blogspot.com.  There you’ll find many ways to save money, and who doesn’t want to save, especially in this horrible economy?  Besides, the more money you save, the more money you can send to Missionaries, Amen?
NEW REFERENCE TOOL
In December I heard about a two volume set of a work by a man named Stephen Hite.  He took eight different Spanish New Testaments and put them together in book form verse by verse, making it easy to study those translations and see what they say.  His work is an invaluable tool for those seeking to study the truth about the Spanish Bible Issue, for some of those versions he included are not available today and haven’t been for over 400 years.  To obtain a copy of his work, go to Octapla.com.  It’s rather pricey, but it’s worth it to have access to those Older Protestant texts, many of which were the basis for our Valera 1602 Purified.
NEWS FROM A FRIEND OF MINE
Friends are few and far between nowadays.  Even with things like Facebook, Email, Magicjack, and Skype, it’s still hard to get together with fellow Christians.  So we keep in contact through the internet.
A friend of mine sent me an email about something that bothered him a lot, and I’m going to include it at the end of this prayer letter.  I believe it’s an important issue.  I hope after you read it, you will agree.
NEW STRUGGLES
With the new year brings new struggles, new problems, and new difficulties to overcome.  But we welcome them and trust God to help us through them all.  We greatly desire your prayers as well, as our desire is to continue serving the Lord and do as much as for him as possible.  As always, our desire is to preach the blood, the book, and the blessed hope.  In other words, stand dogmatically on the three great pillars of the Christian faith:  Salvation, Sanctification, and the Scriptures.  In short, preach the RIGHT GOSPEL, the RIGHT BIBLE, and the RIGHT WAY OF LIVING.  What is the right way of living you might ask?  That is living a sanctified, Spirit-filled life for the honor and glory of God.   I’ll close with 2 Timothy 2:19:  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.  And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Thanks again for all your continued prayers and support.  We love you and are praying for you as well.

CHILDHOOD EVANGELIZATION WITHOUT CHRISTIAN PARENT’S CONSENT?
My wife and I continually see the changing things within the Fundamentalist movement, and we are greatly perturbed by it.  It’s almost like modern tradition is taking the place of true Bible preaching and practices.
We also have done a lot of questioning of many of the practices we see. (Prove all things, hold fast that which is good, Amen?)  One of these is the custom of churches separating parents from their children in Sunday Schools and Church Services.  My wife and I don’t like this.  Our kids stay with us, period!  (For we don’t know those people who want to take them and teach them in Sunday School and Children’s Church, nor do we know what they are teaching!)
It didn’t used to be like this.  In the old days, families always stayed together in the congregation.  But now they are pressured to separate from their children.  Why is this?  Could this be a problem?
We also are leery of childhood professions.  It bothers us to hear people say things like, “I got saved at three years old!  That sounds very far fetched!  Especially when we’ve seen so many pressure children to repeat a prayer, then they proclaim them saved because of it.
With this in mind, a preacher friend of mine wrote an article about this very subject, and how the modern Bloodless Gospel has infiltrated our churches, and is even being targeted at our children.  I felt I needed to include his work in my prayer letter this time.  I hope it is an illuminating article...
“The day I dreaded arrived today, when some Sunday School staff/Children’s Church worker came up to me and informed me that my 7 year-old son had gotten “saved”.  He then put him on the spot in asking him to describe this life changing event to me, at which point my son looked at me with a “dazed and confused” look.  To some people, this might have been a joyous occasion to hear of their son's salvation.  But to me, it was one of my worst nightmares.  Here is why.
The arrogance in our evangelism is alarming!  Isn’t it God’s design for Dad and Mom to instruct, read the Bible to, and discuss biblical matters with their children? Yes it is!  But all of the sudden, in Children’s Church or Sunday school, workers get this thing in their head that the children are there for them to push for a decision on spiritual matters and eternal salvation without even discussing these matters with the parents.  (As if they know the child, or have anything to do with him aside from asking him questions and prompting him to raise his hand).  They view it as “God brought them to me.”  It’s a twisted view on the providence of God.
I asked the young zealous man how the salvation of my son came about.  He gave me the spiel, which consisted of something along the lines of: “asking the children if they lie,” (they said, “Yes”), then he asked them if they, “believed Jesus died for them because of their sins,” to which most 7 year-old church kids also said, “Yes!”  A show of hands was requested, and my son and another answered that they didn’t know if they would go to heaven.  So, they were taken out of the class into a segregated room with this young man, who I do not know anything about.  So then, he asked them to “Repeat this prayer,” which is to say, “Ask Jesus into your heart.”  I was mortified!
I saw the youth in this young man, and tried to have some grace so I held my tongue.  My initial thought was to quiz him as to what he actually covered with my son, and how long it took to do so.  But nooo, Mr. nice guy that I am, I held my tongue.  I mean after all, this young man is just doing what he is trained to do.  He is just doing what is expected of an upstanding young Fundamentalist.  This brings up a much larger problem that covers the whole scope of Independent Baptist Fundamentalism.
That man was simply wrong to do what he did, and he was simply wrong in his overall presentation of it.  When we got home and discussed it with our son, we learned that he in fact, as I suspected, had NO IDEA of what was going on.  He was basically following along and joining in the club.
Children are so impressionable and easy to manipulate which is precisely the reason they have parents!
I rang the assistant Pastor of the church, who is a close friend of mine, and explained to him what had happened.  He understood completely, and my distress resonated with him but he never really offered a solution.  I don’t really know a solution either.  I mean it was an honest mistake by a young, well-intended, sincere man, but it just goes to show what I have been afraid of.  It was later reported that a special meeting was called with the staff, and from now on, it will be with the parent’s involvement if there seems to be an interest in salvation by the child.  But even with that, you understand, my continued apprehension and hesitation.
We are so presupposed to have the ministries and services like the next guy in the church down the street, so we start doing Sunday school, because it is just simply expected in today's religious society.  We encourage young men and women to get involved in these various and assorted “gospel” ministries because it is expected. We have the segregated youth services and bus ministries, and if what happened to my son is what happens to any random child in the church, what are they doing to the bus kids year in and year out?  These children do not have parents who ask questions, and they may well grow up with a false sense of security because they prayed a prayer without any understanding!  Oh, the horror of it all!!!
How long have we been operating like this?
We separate the families.  We separate the children from mom and dad and leave it up to Joe blow Fundamentalist to lead them to Christ without the parents.  It’s just not right.  I have been uneasy about it since I have had children.  I never saw the danger until then.  You trust these guys to instruct them properly on the gospel and eternal salvation, and instead you get coercion, urging for a decision to have a number to report, and all this one-two-three-pray-after-me garbage with a little bit of ask Jesus into your heart, which means what anyway?!?  It is absolutely out of order and a total misrepresentation of what the gospel is.
The reality is my kid was just probably thrown into bus kid status, led away to some room, given some watered down gospel mumbo jumbo by some pubescent 17 or 18 year old with an itch to impress the pastor or the overbearing strict legalistic parents who also want to impress the pastor.  My son was pressured into being honest.  Then, he was pressured to not be left out when it was time to pray.
Later that night, I asked my son if he could recall any of the message to which he replied, “No.”  He remembered talking with his friends before Children's Church, but not the message that supposedly led him to Christ.  Again, it hits home when people take your kids and use coercion while they say it’s “conviction.”  It’s all very cultic in principle.
This is not Bible salvation, or even a figment of it.  I was so disturbed.  Not angry, just disturbed that it has come to this.  Well, who am I kidding, I was angry… to be more accurate.  Judge me all you want.  That’s my child you are perverting with your heresy.  I’m disturbed that we have become so manufactured and transparent that we would target 7 year-olds as our converts.
Many church members and people like my self that feel it necessary to have a Church home, so to have that fellowship and times of worship, we are forced at every hand to assimilate to bogus traditions that we do not hold to within that church home.  Whether it is being forced to go to church every Sunday if your kid goes to the Christian School associated with the church, or the deacons reminding you to send your kids to the Sunday School classes or your baby to nursery..., etc.
My son's salvation is too precious of a thing to have corrupted and distorted, no matter how well intended the people are!  First time, shame on them, second time, shame on me.  How can I ever just send my son to a Sunday school class or children’s church when they are separated from me, and they could be given very damaging instructions at any time?
…Shame on us, those for not ever saying anything, and those for acting like it doesn't exist.  We are going to have hell to pay for all of this one day.  We will be illuminated in the spirit of his mind.  And we will know.  To what extent, and the particulars, it is open for debate, but God will straighten ALL of us out at the judgment seat of Christ!”
*Disclaimer:  I’m not against bus ministries, church Sunday Schools, evangelism, etc.  I’m only questioning the way in which they are done.  Further, I’m not telling church parents they must not send their children to Children’s Church, nursery, Sunday School, etc.  That is the parent’s choice.  However, I believe they should KNOW exactly who their kids are being taught by and what they are being told.  Finally, I’m not saying that children cannot be saved.  They most certainly can.  However, they must be saved the same way adults are, by FAITH in the BLOOD ATONEMENT of Jesus Christ!

MY NEW TRACT:
Got Forgiveness?
Nearly all religions have one thing in common; they all seek the forgiveness of their sins.  However, they all have another thing in common as well; they all disagree as to exactly how a person obtains that forgiveness.
Most religions teach their followers that they must do certain rituals and practices in order to find forgiveness and justify themselves before God.
But will God accept a Sinner and grant him forgiveness based upon something he does? What does the Bible say about this?
In the Bible, God does not grant forgiveness to anyone based upon what they do.  For all that a man can do will never be good enough in God’s eyes.  It is the work of a Sinner.
Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  When the Bible says, “all,” it means A-L-L!
Every human being is a Sinner.  And they can never please God, nor gain God’s forgiveness by their own merit. They cannot save themselves.  This is why they need God to save them from their sins and forgive them.  For without God, they are found unclean.
Isaiah 64:6 clearly tells us: “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
No matter how “righteous” a man thinks that he is or has become by his many good works, he will never be righteous in God’s eyes.  Why?  Because the Bible tells us that salvation, or forgiveness, does not come by “works” rather by “faith.”
Romans 4:5 makes this very clear:  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
And again in Ephesians 2:8,9 we read: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.
If it were possible for a man to gain God’s forgiveness through his own works, then that man would always brag upon himself and boast about how good he is, and not on God, and how great HE is.
Thus, God’s plan of salvation is not to grant man forgiveness of his sins based upon something man does, rather based upon what God did for man.
What did God do for man?  The Bible tells us that he sent his son Jesus to die for the sins of man.  John 3:16 states:  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life [i.e. forgiveness].”
Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, came to this earth to suffer, bleed, and die as he paid for your sins in your place on Calvary.  And God the Father accepted that payment for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).  Now, all those who come to Jesus through faith alone can be born again, and receive complete forgiveness of their sins.  For only he can forgive you.
Speaking of Jesus, the apostle Paul said, “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man [Jesus] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.
And in Acts 26:18, God the Holy Spirit commands Paul in his ministry to, “...open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me [Jesus].
Again, we see that salvation or the forgiveness of sins is by FAITH.  Faith in what?  Faith in Jesus Christ.  But it’s more than that.  It’s faith in Jesus’ bloody sacrifice for our sins.
God has always demanded blood sacrifice for sin.  In the Old Testament, it was the blood of a lamb.  But Jesus Christ was the Lamb of God who died for the sins of the world (John 1:29).  He shed his precious blood as an atonement for the sins of all mankind.  And to receive God’s forgiveness, a Sinner must “trust the blood” of Jesus (Rom. 3:25) by Faith.  For it is only the blood that gives us forgiveness of sins.
We see this clearly in Colossians 1:14, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
God’s Forgiveness is only found through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  And according to 1 John 1:7, only the shed blood of Jesus can cleanse a Sinner of all his sins, as it states: “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
Romans 4:7 further says, “...Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
So how about you?  Are you one of those “blessed ones” which this verse speaks about?  Are you forgiven?  Are your sins covered in the blood of Jesus?
If not, why not?  The Bible speaks in Colossians 2:13 of those who once were lost but now are saved, and tells us of the contrast from before salvation to after:

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.

You too can be one of those who now has been FORGIVEN of all your trespasses.  But it’s not by something you do to try to justify yourself to God.  Rather, it’s by what you do with what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross of Calvary.
Got forgiveness?  Or are you still trusting you are good enough to get to heaven by yourself?

September - October 2011

They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work...         (Neh. 4:17)

Greetings once again from the Breakers,

September and October have gone by so quickly, that it’s hard to believe they have already passed. Is it time to write another prayer letter again? Yes it is. So here goes, as there is much news to report.

Worshipping God!

Many of you have been praying for our house in Alabama to sell. It has been very hard on us to own two houses, as bills for each place are hard to keep up with at times. But thankfully, we’ve been blessed to finally sell our Alabama house in October. We didn’t make any money on the place, and took a great loss, but God knows our struggles, and we are thankful we don’t have to worry about paying the bills on that place anymore!
We also had to move and that took some time. We then had to figure out what to do with our printing equipment. You’ll remember a few years back we had an organization donate it to us. We have never had a chance to use it, as it required 330 electric instead of 220, and our two laser printers have been more than enough for our printing needs, so we prayed about what to do with the equipment, and who to give it to. God came through and a Missionary friend picked it up and is going to take it to a church in Missiouri who wants to use it in printing tracts. So we praise God that it will be used for his honor and glory!

Working Hard

With the sale of our Alabama house, we have turned our attention to fixing up our Florida house, with the hopes of selling it someday. We have done a lot of work on the place since the two years after my father died, and we’re getting close to finally getting done. However, we have had our share of set backs. A tropical storm named Lee did a number on our bulkhead, and washed part of it away. Thus, I’ve had to spend most of the month of October in back-breaking labor, working to fix it. And, wouldn’t you know, we had a freak storm which came and tore out about 20 feet of it after I finished. But during the process, God showed me an interesting lesson from that project, and I am going to write about that at the end of this prayer letter.

Witnessing Day after Day

The Apostle Paul was a tentmaker, and we find him often toiling at that occupation while witnessing to his customers and fellow workers. He didn’t just go out and try to reach the lost, rather he took advantage of every opportunity in reaching those that also came to him while he worked. Thus, while having to fix my bulkhead, I found that I too had quite a few opportunities to witness to people who came across my path as I worked. One man was a Jehovah Witness, and I had a great chance to witness to him. I also had a fun time working with a man and teaching him about Dispensations, Christ’s Blood Atonement, and more.
Being a missionary is much more than just GOING and preaching to people. It’s taking every opportunity to witness to those around you, especially when they COME to you! I’ve tried to explain this in previous prayer letters: being a Missionary isn’t determined by where you go, but by who you are. If you witness only because you are paid to do so in a foreign land, and yet you don’t witness while at home, you are not really a Missionary at all. Rather, you are a hireling.
Today there is much emphasis on GO and PREACH, but such emphasis has led to a generation of Christians who ONLY PREACH when they GO, but never preach here at home. I believe we should preach where ever we are, when ever we get the opportunity, and to whomsoever comes across our paths. And I thank God for so many opportunities to witness these last few months.
I often feel so overwhelmed with so much to do here. I’ve reported several prayer letters ago that we have many responsibilities here we have to get done before we can get back to traveling and preaching like before. But what a blessing that even though I’ve been busy working towards that goal, God has given me many chances to witness and pass out tracts during this time.

Watching Others

The Bible says that those who “compare themselves” with others are “not wise” (2 Cor. 10:12) So I’ve never tried to compare myself to other Christians, Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, etc. However, it’s very hard not to watch them and what they are doing. And, as I’ve reported many times, I’m seeing them often headed in the wrong direction, falling oftentimes into apostasy, sexual sins, and false doctrine. This saddens me greatly, and discourages me a lot. But I still press on, focusing on what God’s doing, not on what they are doing.
On the subject of the Spanish Bible, I’m continually seeing what it appears others do not. You see, when you are on the outside looking in, you see things more clearly than when you are on the inside, getting caught up with all the clap trap of the political system, in which so many today are completely enthralled.
With that stated, I constantly get emails from SPANISH-SPEAKERS who tell me they are so thankful for the information I’m getting out about the Spanish Bible. And almost all of them tell me that in their estimation the best Spanish Bible is our Valera 1602 Purified. Now, contrast this with the modern push in the IFB movement with many popular ENGLISH-SPEAKERING preachers pushing the modern Gomez Spanish Bible. But since it’s all about Spanish and for the Spanish-speakers, shouldn’t we listen to them and what they are saying?
I hear so often from Spanish-speakers who have awakened to the fact that their Spanish Bibles (the 1960, the 1909, the 1865) are corrupt. They are diligently seeking a better translation, but there are only two they can turn to: The Valera 1602 Purified and the modern Gomez. Care to guess which one they all are telling me they are leaning towards? Why the 1602 Purified of course. The reason is because it is much better and closer to the KJV. It is also OLD CASTELLAN SPANISH, and not modern Spanish like the 1960 and the Gomez (which relied heavily on the wordage of the 1960). Further, they are in favor of using SEÑOR or Lord in Spanish, like the 1602 P does, rather than JEHOVA. And finally, they reject the occultic papist word VERBO for the older protestant word PALABRA.
With this in mind, I thought I’d just give a few words from one of the many native latino Spanish-Speakers who contact me about this subject...

I had a corrupt text (in the 1960). Your information really showed me the problems and the right version to turn to! I’m so happy you have this material out there! My faith was in man, and I trusted in what they told me. I did not study out the truth for myself. Thank God for your website that gave me the truth and pointed me to the right Spanish Bible! I went to an Independent Baptist Bible College, but they never told me the truth about or the history of the Spanish Bible. Thank you so much for doing so! I have read all the Spanish Bibles verse by verse, and I believe the Valera 1602 Purified to be the best. It appears to me the Gomez is made by and pushed by Gringoes, while the Purified is the work of native Spanish-Speakers, and more received by Hispanos.

You can’t argue with a NATIVE SPANISH-SPEAKER giving such a testimony!

Worrying Often

I’ve been talking with other Missionaries and many of them have been telling me the same thing. It’s getting tough to receive financial support as the economy worsens in the United States. I feel their pain, as our support level is dropping every month. Yet we know of no other course of action but to continue serving the Lord, and doing what we know is right, hoping and praying that things will turn around. Until they do, we will do the best we can to serve God with the little amount of support we do receive, and we wish to let you know that we greatly appreciate your sacrifice in giving to the work of the Lord.

Writing Books

Over the years, I’ve written over 17 books, and printed these myself and often given them out free of charge to as many people as will take them and read them. I believe they are important, dealing with such doctrines as Salvation, the Blood Atonement, the History of the Spanish Bible, and more. But now with the economy being so bad, I’ve submitted one of my books to a large “Christian” printing press, and it is due out in December. The title of the book is: “What THE BIBLE Says about Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage.” And, this company is supposed to market my work to over 70,000 Christian Bookstores world-wide, and I’m supposed to get royalties on copies that are sold. Because of the low support we receive, I’m hoping God will use this book to help people, and that we might be able to use the money made on this book to help supplement our ministry. Please pray for this endeavour. We have already given the book out to many Spanish-speakers, and they all claim that it has helped them in their marriage relationships and has opened their eyes to the spiritual type of Christ and the Church. If you are interested in this book in English, you can obtain a pre-copy at my website bookstore. (Go to www.rrb3.com)
I remember years ago that I was once called a “Bad Missionary” for writing books. (This from guys who have written and profited off of books that they have written, many of which contained their own opinions rather than sound Bible doctrine.) But I truly believe that we need more good sound Bible literature that points people to the word of God and the truths of the scriptures. As God allows, I’ll try to submit more books to this company (it’s called Xulon Press) and I pray we might be able to reach more people with the truth.

Waiting Patiently

As most of you know, Laura is nine months pregnant as I write this, and we are awaiting a new baby. We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, and are looking forward to being surprised. We’ll let you know in our next prayer letter what it is, and hopefully include a picture. But until then, please pray for us, as it appears the baby will be late. Sometimes waiting is sooooooooo agonizing. Why can’t it just come already? I guess we’ll just have to wait on the Lord’s timing.

Wishing Daily

I really believe the time is short for the soon appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I wish for it everyday. Still He has not come yet. So we continue looking upward. Until then, we hope to be found faithful in witnessing, working, and watching.

Thanks again for all your prayers and support. We covet your prayers, and know you do the same.
Because He shed His oh so precious blood for us,
Robert, Laura, and Emma Breaker
1 Sam. 12:24!
While working on fixing our bulkhead, I learned some valuable spiritual lessons. God showed me some things that I believe are noteworthy to share. I hope they might be a blessing to you.
THE BULKHEAD

A bulkhead is nothing more than a wall that is set up to keep water from washing away your property. If we take the water as a type of the world then we see an interesting symbolism, for often there are storms in which the waves of the world crash upon us, seeking to bring us down and destroy us. But the stronger the wall, the less chance of collapsing and breaking down.
Now, to build a bulkhead, three things are needed: 1. The Wall, 2. Dead Men, and 3. Dirt.
In building a bulkhead, the wall is important in separating the soil from the sea. The material used for this is either wood, or vinyl sheets, and the longer they are, the better they will hold. It is recommened to use either 10 or 12 foot pieces, as the deeper they go, the harder they are to move. My bulkhead, however, was initially built of vinyl sheets only 8 feet long. Because of this, they did not hold well, and my wall fell out towards the sea as the waves seeped over and pulled it down, taking away much dirt and washing it out to sea. For this reason, I had to strengthen my bulkhead.
To strengthen the wall, every so many feet the law says a man should have a dead man to help hold up the wall. It is nothing more than a post sunk into the ground about 12 feet inland, in which a piece of “allthread” or thick gauge threaded wire (either galvanized or stainless steel) is connected to a buried post and the wall. The post is put deep into the ground to keep it from moving and on the post is nailed a board horizontally, making it look like a “cross,” or like a man with his arms outstreched. Hence, the name, “Dead man.” This board, once it is covered with dirt holds tightly in the sand, almost like an anchor, and if built correctly, it can hold tightly even against the most brutal storms, tempests, and hurricanes.
Looking at this spiritually, we see an amazing picture, as Christians need a wall of separation from sin and the world. We further need a dead man in our lives, and that man is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who spread his arms out on that old wooden cross and died for our sins. (Thankfully he rose again!) Once we trust him as our Saviour, he is the anchor of our souls, and we remain steadfast in him, trusting him to keep us firm, centered, and unmoveable during the worst tempests in our Christian lives.
We as Christians also need to build walls or bulkheads in our daily lives and Christian walk. We need to separate ourselves from the world (the water), and the strength of our walls are determined by how strong our faith is in the “dead man.” If our allthread (faith) is weak, it will break and the wall will fall. If it is strong, it will hold steadfastly and the wall will deflect the waves.
On bulkheads, it is recommended to use 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch allthread. But on my bulkhead, I used 1 inch galvanized steel. It was so big, and bulky, but it was strong! The stronger the allthread, the stronger the wall! It is the same with our faith. The stronger our faith, the stronger our wall!
The other thing that makes the wall strong is the depth of the dead man. The deeper the dead man, the more he will hold. Thus, the stronger the allthread and the deeper the dead man post, the better the wall will hold and keep the water from washing it away.
What a beautiful picture this is of our Christian life. If our faith (our allthread) is strong, and our dead man (our Saviour) is deeply planted in our hearts, the less chance we’ll have of being brought down by the storms of this world and falling into temptation, worldliness, and sin!
How deep is your dead man? How strong is your allthread? How firmly planted is your wall?

July - August 2011

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.   (James 1:2-4)

Greetings once again from the Breakers! I wish we had exciting news, but there is really not too much to report. As the old saying goes, “No news is good news!” And sometimes that’s exactly right.
I’ve been wearing myself thin these last hot and muggy summer months, and we are starting to catch up on a few things, and we do have a few praise reports we are glad to be able to include in this prayer letter.

CONTRACT SIGNED TO SELL OUR HOUSE

Thanks to all of you who had been praying for our house to sell. We’ve had a FSBO (For Sale By Owner) sign out front for several months, and while we had many calls on it, there were very few who could afford, or even get a loan for the place. All because of this “slow economy.” So many brethren have told us their sad stories about how long their houses had been up for/and are still for sale. It just seems it’s very hard to sell nowadays. But glory to God we signed a contract to sell the end of August. We didn’t get what we wanted for the place, (no one never does), in fact we are taking a big loss. But we feel so blessed to have that burden lifted. Please continue to pray that the closing goes off without a hitch.
Wouldn’t you know that the day we signed the contract was the day the A/C unit went out. (Seems like that always happens, doesn’t it? Just when something good is about to happen, something bad has to come along and spoil it!) The buyers signed the contract “as is” but we felt bad, so we made a point to pay to have the A/C indoor heating and cooling unit replaced. It cost us 1500 dollars out of pocket. Like the old saying goes, “It hurts to do the right thing.” But we felt we did just that in fixing it for the new buyers, who probably could not afford to fix it themselves. (They could barely afford to get a loan in this horrible economy).

BOOKS, BOOKSTORE, PRINTING, and PRINTING EQUIPMENT

Selling our house means we will no longer be able to keep the heavy duty printing equipment we have stored there. That’s okay, as we’ve been printing materials on our laser printers instead with great results. This means we have a multi-lith printer, a camera for the plates, a nice cutter, and more just collecting dust. So I thought in this prayer letter that I would ask anyone if they could use it in their church. It’s a great machine for printing tracts! If so, let us know, as we’d love to see that machine used by someone for the glory of God. We would use it ourselves, but it’s just too big. It’s more for printing in bulk, and we just aren’t to that stage in which we print that much. (I believe each plate can do 30,000 to 50,000 pages).
Speaking of printing tracts, we have a new one for you here. The question on the title says it all: “How sure are you that you are going to heaven?” And we’ve been busy printing these up, and getting them into the hands of those who will read them. If you like them and want some more, please let us know!
A while back someone told me about P.O.D. or Print on Demand, and my wife and I learned more about it lately, figuring out how to have our books printed this way and posted for sale on the internet. For years I’ve been printing them up and mailing them out myself, but this way a company does all the work, and it looks so nice and professional! If you want to buy the book, you purchase it through Amazon.com. They then package it and mail it, and then send us a check for the royalties (which are not much, believe me). But we are hoping to supplement our monthly support with this revenue.
If you are interested in checking out our bookstore, please go to www.rrb3.com and click on “BOOKSTORE.”
If you desire a lot of books to sell in your church bookstore, let me know, as I can get a lot cheaper price in bulk. Our prayer is that these books will go far and wide, as they contain a lot of good doctrinal material, as well as important information about the Spanish Bible Issue.
As most of you know, all of the support we get for the ministry goes to the ministry, so we are trying to see if we can help support the ministry and ourselves through printing and selling this way online. We also are experimenting with printing the Spanish New Testament, and so far we have sold a few Valera 1602 Purified Spanish New Testaments, (although the quality isn’t as good as we’d like. We are still learning). I hope in the future to make much more information available in both English and Spanish, as good Christian literature is important.
Speaking of the Spanish Bible (the Valera 1602 Purified) we heard good news. Mt. Pisgah press in Tennessee has decided it is the best Spanish Bible, and they are going to start printing it on their presses. We also are waiting for more whole Bibles to be printed in Shelbyville, Tennessee, as well. So please pray these might be printed soon. (Because we are all out and need more!)

THE STORM AND EVEN MORE PROBLEMS

As I write this, we are in Florida in the middle of a Tropical Storm named Lee. It has caused several leaks in the house we live in here, and has destroyed our bulkhead and eroded away some of the property. All of these are just more things we’ll have to fix. But we know there must be a reason for all this. So we continue pressing forward in serving the Lord as we try to get our house in order. I just hope we’ll be able to get ahead soon, as it seems like just about the time we get to where we want to be, then there are more problems to deal with. Someone once said it nicely, when they said, “Well, um, I think they just call that LIFE!

TRANSLATING AND GETTING MATERIAL TO SPANISH SPEAKERS

At the request of others, I’ve been busy working on the computer translating my latest book (the one I mailed out to you in my last prayer letter about the Spanish Bible and those Courageous men Behind its Inception) into Spanish. This worked out well, as my home church in Mexico wanted to use the material in their Bible Institute, so that took me a few 12 to 14 hour days of translating.
I’ve also been flooded with many phone calls from Spanish-speakers who tell me that they are mad at me for having all my books in English and not in Spanish. (Actually, two are already in Spanish, but the rest still need to be translated). So it looks like I have a great job in front of me translating them for the Spanish-speaking people. (Hey, I’m supposed to be a Missionary Evangelist to the Spanish-Speaking People, so I really should have all my material in Spanish, right?)

PONDERING WHY THINGS HAPPEN THE WAY THEY DO

I used to always wonder why God would let my Dad pass away, and why we would end up here in the states. But now I’m seeing it’s in order to be able to do the work of getting all of our works into Spanish, and to get out more Spanish Bibles. For had we been in Honduras or on the road all the time, we would not have had time to do all of this. So God is working and slowly preparing us to eventually get to the point where we can indeed get back on the road again someday. But until then, we’ll keep doing the work of the Lord as we try to get our house sold, our books into English and Spanish available on the world wide web, and our printing machines up and running printing more tracts.
As always, thanks for your continued prayers and support. We need it! And we hope you know we pray for you all too!
In His service,
Robert, Laura, and Emma Lee Breaker

As always, I just can’t make my prayer letters short. And with the high cost of postage nowadays, it just doesn’t seem right to not send as much as I can for the same price of a regular letter. So, I’ve always got to add a little something extra. This time, I thought I’d add this. Here it is. I hope it makes you think

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  (2 Tim. 3:1)

This verse pretty much says it all. And I’m sure you’d agree we are definitely in the last days. This means constant peril shall come soon (if it’s not here already).
Recently, I’ve just finished reading a good book by Ann Coulter entitled, “Demonic” and it really brought home some hard truths for me. She did a great job in her book in showing the evil power of “mob rule” and how easy it is to deceive people into thinking a certain way and then inciting them to react in an angry manner. In a mob, there is no rule, only brute force, and the mob has no pity, practicing on others the most atrocious and barbarous acts imaginable.
In her book, she showed the difference between the American Revolution and the French Revolution, proving how one was well thought out with much reason and thinking, and sought independence for truth and justice, while the other was a sheer murderous circus, with no goal but to get rid of those in power and to take out one’s anger on them. Rape, murder, pillaging, plunder, desecration of the dead, were common place, and the mob grew more bold in their evil actions, as countless thousands were beheaded at the guillotine. It was, as the title of her book implies, truly Demonic.
The modern history of mankind and mob rule is much the same. It is man giving into his basest depravity and taking his anger, hatred, and unconstrained passions out on others. Hitler, Philpot, Stalin, Mao, and others who have gained power using mob rule have all done the same thing: they have carried out MASS MURDER, as they sought to make society what they wanted it to be. And they all have one thing in common: after they took over through mob rule, they all outlawed God and the Bible. (Can you say, “Demonic?”)
On this “happy note,” I can’t help but report that I’m starting to see this demonic mob mentality in America and around the world. Mobs are taking to the streets, and they are militant in their hatred towards Christians and Jews.
Several months ago, you’ll remember the Muslims in Egypt ousting their ruler, while chanting Anti-Jewish rhetoric, all while they gang raped a woman in the streets, during what they called their “day of rage.”
Not too long ago we also saw mass demonstrations in Greece, Spain, and then even in England too, where countless mobs of people looted store after store for no reason other than utter rebellion.
Now we are starting to see it in America as well, as the thugs are calling for a national day of rage in September of this year. Who’s behind all this? Well, as the title of her book implies, it must be demons, (or what the Bible calls seducing spirits). Certainly Satan is behind it all. And, he’s using socialism, communism, unions, colleges, community organizers, and modern day liberal thought to achieve his task of utter pandemonium, chaos, and suffering.
Instead of people today wanting to live for Jesus, they have become militant against Jesus. Instead of doing what’s right, they have pledged their lives to fight for and even die for: the whales, gay rights, women’s rights, animal rights, mother earth, abortion, etc. And they will never stop until they feel they have stamped out anyone and everyone who is against their satanic ideals. (This is how the mob works. They don’t stop until everyone they hate is dead.) Sadly, they don’t understand that everything they stand for is completely against God and the Bible.
So yes, perilous times shall come. In fact, I think they are already here. And it bothers me. Sometimes I fear the worst, but hope for the best. And as I ponder the evil to come, I sometimes want to just quit the ministry, and go get a cabin in the woods somewhere away from everyone and everything so when the looting, pillaging, plundering, rapings and murders begin here, I’ll be away from it. But then again, as I think it through, I believe it’s just that much more important to do more now to try to convert others to Christ.
But probably the saddest thing is that it’s just not the demon-possessed, demonically led liberals who are so angry with their mob style mentality. Today I find there are many Christians who have the same mob-like system of thinking, (i.e. mass condemnation and constant ridicule towards those they don’t agree with). And if you are one of those ostracized by them, then the whole group will devour you. Why is this? I believe it’s because the Church has gotten worldly and the world has gotten churchy, so it’s hard to tell one from the other today! This is why so many Christians are more interested in attacking than simply standing for the truth and faithfully preaching it to a lost and dying world. (Sadly, many today are not standing at all, rather back peddling).
Thinking on this and reading my Bible, I believe the Lord showed me something very important. I was reading through 2 Peter chapter one when it hit me with a ton of bricks. There we read:

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

Here, the apostle Peter gives us seven things that if we do, we will never FALL, nor become UNFRUITFUL. As I looked at those seven things, I thought to myself, “How many of those do I really have? And how many of those do modern Christians really have?” You see those seven things are against the mob mentality. They are what distinguish a person as a true Christian. And they are so very close to the fruits of the Spirit which Paul gives us in Gal. 5:22 and 23.
But what really got me was in verse five where it says that we should “give all diligence” to these things. That is, we should diligently be active in trying to be: 1. Virtuous, 2. Knowledgeable, 3. Temperate, 4. Patient, 5. Godly, 6. Kind, and 7. Charitable.
It is just me, or has modern Christianity lost it’s calling? Many a modern “militant” Christian has none of these things, much less even one or two.
And look at verse ten, it tells us if we do these things, then we shall NEVER fall.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to backslide, or fall into sin. I want to live right and do right! So that’s why I’m devoting myself to try even more to be these seven things.
Lastly, notice that in verse nine we read of those who do lack these things, and the verse tells us that they are BLIND (Does this remind you of Laodicea in Revelation chapter three? It does me!), and they can’t SEE afar off (they can’t see the coming insurrection of demonic forces bend on their destruction).
So as I continue in this Christian life, looking up and hoping the Lord will come soon (the sooner the better), I want to be the opposite of the depraved, demonically possessed mobs. I want to be a true Christian. How about you? How many of these seven things are in you (vs 8), and if so, do they abound as the verse says? And are you diligently (verse 5 and 10) seeking those things? Our enemies are amassing and they are diligent in their endeavors, not intending to stop until they achieve their Satanic goal of a New World Order without God.

May June 2011

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
( Revelation 22:20 )

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Greetings from a very disappointed Bro. Breaker. I really had my hopes up that the Lord would come back this Spring, and I was heartbroken yet again when he didn’t. (You’d think I’d learn to stop getting my hopes up so much!).
I’ve always thought the Rapture had to take place in the Spring time, specifically around Pentecost. Taking Acts 1:11, and the words “this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven,” I figured that since Jesus went up on Pentecost, then he’d have to come back on the same feast. So I counted 50 days after this year’s Passover, and arrived at June 13 this year for Pentecost, hoping that would be the day! It wasn’t. However, this proves one thing: God is much smarter than I am! Amen? Yep, no man can know the day or hour!
Some other brothers are now discussing the possibility of a September Rapture, which is odd, as I’ve always read in the Song of Solomon that the bridegroom comes for his bride in the Spring time. However, things in this world are changing at such a rapid pace, that even many major world leaders are now talking about implementing some kind of extreme massive changes world-wide starting this September. Could this be the start of the Anti-Christ’s reign? Could Christ really come back in September?
Unless you live under a rock, you know the world is getting worse and worse, with massive inflation, stagnant economies, job losses, civil unrest, and more. Soon, a Global economic collapse will take place, and everyone will feel it. (Even our once great nation of the United States of America has plunged so far in debt that she’s reached her limit. Truly, times are about to get very bad financially, and it’s going to be hard on everybody, especially on us Missionaries.)
And, no doubt you’ve seen that militant Revolutionaries have taken root in almost every country of the globe and are starting uprisings, pressuring their leaders to step down, while Liberals and Muslims are now uniting against Israel. Surely, Christ’s coming can’t be that far off! (Even so, come Lord Jesus! The sooner the better!)
Though it’s doom and gloom for the world, I’m glad I have the promise of God’s blessed hope, and I’m thankful I’m saved and I know it. I just can’t wait to get out of here real soon, either at the Rapture, or (and God forbid, but it might come to this) as a martyr for Jesus. I’m not the only one who feels this way. Many of my other brothers in Christ have all confessed to me that they have this sinking gut feeling that something bad is about to happen, yet they find a great peace, knowing that the Rapture is so very close. Some are even having dreams about Christ’s return, (something I don’t put much stock in). However, it is interesting to see how the entire world is full of either hatred, rage, and/or apathy towards the things of God.
Sorry if I sound a little downtrodden, but I wanted this prayer letter to come from the heart. In these last days, I find that instead of a great revival, we are seeing a great resistance to the things of God. The world as a whole is turning against the Jews, Christians, and America, (which used to be the world’s last “Christian Nation.”) They are actively hostile towards anything to do with God, and they are organizing to set up their own godless systems of government, which include: Sharia Law, Communism, Socialism, and/or International Statism.
But even though so much bad stuff is happening in the world, the thing that bothers me the most is the state of the Church. She is no longer a beacon of righteousness, a lighthouse of truth, a voice of reason amidst an age of crashing waves of darkness. No, she has lost her testimony and become worldly. She’s also become political, accepting and adopting many of the same programs, procedures, and mechanisms of the world.
In these last days I’m finding that instead of churches working together, they are falling apart! In almost every church we visit we see so many empty pews. Pastors tell us that their flocks are dwindling and it’s getting harder and harder to get people saved and new people in. What’s happening?
It seems Pastors, deacons, church members, etc. are not interested in uniting for truth, rather dividing the flock of God. And boy are they dividing it, as so many are often busy arguing amongst themselves instead of working together for the cause of Christ. The best way I can explain it is like this: The Bible calls it a spiritual warfare, and we are supposed to be soldiers in the army of the Lord. But instead of us soldiers attacking the enemy with the same arms, the same tactics, and the same mentality, they all have different armaments (different bibles), different methods of doing and preaching things (different man-made programs on how we are supposed to serve God), and different ideas about what to do for God (each Pastor following the way his Bible school taught him instead of simply following God’s word as written).
This leads to bitter infighting among the troops, as each one attacks the other for not doing things exactly the way they do. And it leads to even more contentions, divisions, strifes, etc.
Churches, Pastors, and Christians all seem to be serving God their way in their own strength rather than God’s way and in His strength. The point is, we need to get back to the Book! And, the sooner the better!
People said of the apostle Paul that in his time, he “turned the world upside down.” (Acts 17:6). But where are those Christians of today who are doing the same? It seems the liberal revolutionaries are now those turning the world upside down, while Christians remain focused on one another, rather than on a lost and dying world.
I heard something the other day that made me think about how to reach the world on a massive scale. On a radio broadcast, they said close to 3 billion people use the Internet. That’s almost one third of the world’s population! And it got me thinking, as the world grows darker, times get tougher, and travel costs soar so high that it’s almost impossible to go to foreign lands, what’s wrong with reaching people for Christ via the Net? (That’s what the revolutionaries are doing with Facebook to set up their demonstrations and rallies). It used to be Pastors would make fun of someone who wanted to set up an Internet Ministry, but now it appears that it might be the best way to reach people, especially as gas prices soar and travel is impeded.
For years I wondered why God would have us leave Honduras. But now I’m finding it’s because he had a plan for us here, and I find we are now reaching people all over the globe through our website. Had we been in Honduras, we might not have been able to receive the countless phone calls, emails, personal visits, and letters of correspondence we are currently receiving from others who are interested in the right Spanish Bible and the true method of soul winning, by faith in His Blood. We also have been able to devote some time to writing books on those subjects which are starting to be read by many, as people begin to awake to the fact that Missionaries world-wide are preaching from corrupt Bibles and preaching bloodless methods of soul-winning.
(With this prayer letter, I’m including my latest book about the Spanish Bible. It is only a rough draft. We also have not put a fancy binder on it, so we might save some money in shipping. But we do ask you to read it and pass it on to others, as the information shows the apostasy in the Church today and the many different corrupt Spanish Bibles out there. It also shows the men who use them, and then it points you to the right Spanish Bible. We believe you must have the right foundation, for if your foundation is wrong, everything you do on it will fall! It also shows that those who are serving God correctly have had and will always have persecution. And those who aren’t don’t.
It took me a long time to write this book, and boy was it encouraging to learn about those old Spaniards of old who stood up to the apostate church of their day and suffered persecution for their stand for the word of God. I now have a lot more heroes in the faith, and pray you will too as you read about them.)
So we are busy, and enjoy doing all we can for the Lord. It’s also great to see him using us not only in one city or one nation, but on a world-wide scale! We are also encouraged by all the feedback we receive, both good and bad. An example is the article I wrote in my last prayer letter about the modern Faith Promise movement. Some responded thanking me for opening their eyes to the truth that it is an anti-biblical CHARISMATIC doctrine. Yet others replied angrily, scolding me for going against the majority way of doing things, even saying I’m not a good Independent Baptist for saying what I said against that doctrine. But you judge. Should we use Pentecostal, anti-Biblical, prosperity-gospel teachings to raise funds for Missions, or should we just follow the word of God and what it says about giving?
In these last days we continue doing what we’ve always been doing, mailing out Bibles, passing out tracts, preaching to the lost, distributing our teaching DVD’s, as well as making more teaching videos, as we serve God in a three fold ministry: 1. Reach the lost with the blessed Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, 2. Get the pure Scriptures into the hands of the Hispanic people, and 3. Enlighten those who claim to be saved with the truth of the Scriptures, exposing apostate practices and stressing the Church’s need to get back to the Book alone!
Thanks for standing with us, as we look for his soon return. And again, thanks for your continued prayers and support.
Jesus is coming soon, even so come Lord Jesus!

What Makes Devil’s Flee?

I get lots of phone calls from people all the time asking me questions about the Spanish Bible, Salvation, etc. It’s fun for me to talk to people of all different walks of life in both English and Spanish and hear of some of their experiences. Lately, I’ve heard from people who have had contact with devils or demons. I like to ask them all the same question, “What makes devils flee?
From my correspondence with them, I’ve found there are three things that demons despise with all their being. These are the King James Bible, the Blood of Jesus Christ, and the doctrine of living a holy, separated, Spirit-filled life.Or, in other words, the scriptures, salvation, and sanctification. (Hmmm. How interesting! It seems I’ve been hearing a lot about those three doctrines lately. Let’s see, where did I hear about them? Oh yeah, that’s right! I’ve been telling people for years that those are the three most important doctrines of the Christian faith, and those are the three main pillars of our ministry!)

THE KING JAMES BIBLE
One man in particular told me that demons loathe the King James Bible and anyone who preaches from it and believes it to be the perfect and preserved word of God in English. He said that he’s seen demon-possessed people curse God and curse the King James Bible. And, in his dealings with others in explaining to them why the KJV is right, he’s seen their demeanor change and their faces glow red as they become another person all together, dogmatically attacking and ridiculing the KJV ferociously. Could it be they have a devil?
Where’s this leave those who claim to be Preachers, yet they make fun of the KJV, or they use or prefer another translation of the Bible? Could they be demon possessed? Or to be fair, could they be led by spirits into being deceived into using another version of the Bible? There is a great spiritual attack against the infallible Authorized Version. It’s not just a matter of preference. It’s a matter of possession. Either you have the KJV and you believe it, or you are led by another spirit into using a modern perversion of the scriptures.

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. (1 Thess. 2:13)

THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
Several have told me that in dealing with demons they have found that mentioning the atoning blood of Jesus Christ makes devils cringe and shake in their boots. Certainly, pleading the blood of Jesus helps any Christian in their spiritual battle, for the blood is powerful. Devils hate that life-giving, sin-absolving, soul-covering, precious shed blood of Jesus Christ. For they know it is the only thing that gives man eternal life and entrance into heaven.
So where’s that leave those who claim to be Soul Winners, yet they don’t preach the blood of Jesus? Could they be helping the Devil and his anti-biblical doctrines instead of Jesus and his blood-stained method of salvation? Today we see quite a few preaching a BLOODLESS GOSPEL. Many Pastors are leading their congregations into “purpose driven” ministries, instead of simply remaining faithful in a God called “pointing driven” method of building the church, (i.e. pointing Sinners only to the blood stained cross of Calvary).
Could it be that those who don’t preach the blood of Jesus are influenced by devils? That can’t be, right? But then again, we know that if they were preaching the blood, then they most certainly wouldn’t have any devils around them, for the blood of Jesus makes them flee!
This means there are countless ministries out there who claim to be Christian, but because they have left out the blood, they are allowing demons into their midst. What a scary thought. Preach the blood, and the demons will flee. Omit it, and they will flock to you!

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. (1 Tim. 4:1-2)

SPIRIT-FILLED CHRISTIAN LIVING
I remember a time in which Pastors used to preach hard about being Spirit-filled, and living a holy life for God. But those days now seem few and far between. Most Pastors today focus their time on browbeating their congregations and trying to guilt trip them into thinking they aren’t doing enough or giving enough for Jesus. But it’s not about what you are doing, rather what is your spiritual condition. For even the Pharisees did things for God, but they didn’t do it the right way, nor with the right heart or motive.
Modern Christianity today has a strange view in which they think what defines you as a Christian is how much you DO for Jesus. But you can do a lot for Jesus without even being right with God!
What’s important is to be close to Jesus, living right, loving Him, and separating yourself from the world, while constantly fighting the filthy desires of the flesh. Very few Christians today do this. They think, “Well, if I just go to church, pass out tracts, go soul-winning, tithe, and do all that, then I’m okay, and then I can go do whatever I want and God will be okay with it.
There’s nothing wrong with doing these things. But if a Christian does those things while at the same time living like the Devil, then what makes you think the devils will flee from him? They won’t. Demons want you to be as carnal as possible, and they want you to do as much for the Lord as you can in your carnal state. That way you’re not spiritual, even though you might be serving the Lord. And that way you’ll get no rewards, as you did it your way in your own flesh instead of God’s way in His spirit.
If a man is living for God, full of the Spirit of God, separating himself from sin, then wouldn’t the devils flee from him? I mean isn’t that what Jesus did when he was in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights? And after his temptation, doesn’t the Bible say that the Devil left him? Satan fled, when he realized he couldn’t sway Jesus to sin.
What we have today is a lot of Christians who don’t flee temptation, rather they flock to it. And because they are so apt to fall, devils lie in wait to capture them and tempt them yet the more.
Sadly, in our day we hear of Pastor after Pastor and church member after church member falling into sin, carnal lusts, and worldliness. And we all wonder how this could happen, especially since they appear to be DOING so much for God. It’s because they, like the church of Laodicea, are doing it all in the FLESH, and not in the SPIRIT of God.
Demons love it when Christians are carnal. The more carnal they become, the more influence they can have to tempt, provoke, and discourage them. But the closer you are to God, walking in the Spirit, the farther away you are from the devils. Could it be the reason the church is in such a mess today is because so many are carnal rather than spiritual? This can be the only conclusion. God help us!

Neither give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:27).
