Welcome! Here you will find all of my prayer letters written ever since I started the ministry as a Missionary to Honduras, and then as I now am as a Missionary to the Spanish-Speaking People of the Americas. We hope to update this with our current prayer letter that we send out every two months.

February 2003

Dear Fellowlabourers in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Greetings once again from Honduras!  Things are beginning to pick up here, and I’m finding that there is more than enough to do to keep me busy.

I’ve just begun Bible Studies in my home on Tuesday and Friday nights with my neighbors.  They are really enjoying it.  We are studying a sixteen lesson discipleship course, and afterwards I plan to teach them verse by verse from various books of the Bible.

At two o’clock in the afternoon every Saturday, the kids are still showing up for the Children’s ministry.  We have seen some adults come as well.  (Praise the Lord!)  On February 15th, we had a “Family Day.”  The week before, I took the children on visitation with me to invite whole families to come to services.  We handed out leaflets and tracts.  My kids really enjoyed it!  The following Saturday, we had over 50 people show up for services!  I asked eighteen-year-old Geovanni Galeano to preach and give his testimony (he is the son of the Pastor of one of the local Independent Baptist Churches here).  He did a wonderful job of preaching the gospel, and afterwards, one raised his hand signifying he was lost.  Unfortunately, he put off being saved until another day.  “Almost Persuaded” - Almost, but lost.  Please pray that he’ll get saved.

Also on Saturday’s, I’ve been asked to teach English.  At four o’clock I start classes.  I began with three students, and have many more coming.  We also have classes on Friday’s at two.  I also started a Chess club here Saturday evenings.

Bible Studies on Wednesday’s with Nelson and Zenia in Tegucigalpa are going well.  They are coming along, and really growing in the Lord.  They still desire to move to Olancho, but Zenia is pregnant and must stay in Tegucigalpa for at least six more months, as she must visit the hospital every two weeks.  They want me to come with them if they move and start a church in their village.  I’ve been there three times now, and we found several other villages that want us to come and start a church in their area.  That would be a blessing.

So, as you can see, I’m keeping myself busy.  Thank you all for the privilege and opportunity you’ve given me to come here and do something for the Lord!

Because He paid it all for even me,
