Dear Brethren,
Greetings once more in the name of our most Glorious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So much has happened in the last two months of 2004, that it’s hard to know where to begin. God has been good with allowing me to win some folks to the Lord, as well as baptize some of my converts here in Honduras.
On November 18th, 2004, I had the privilege of winning Olbin and Enrique Hernandez to Christ after our regular Thursday night service in Quebrada de Lajas!
Thanksgiving was spent with Missionary Bob Baker in the area of El Tomate, just outside of Olancho, Honduras. We had a great time of fellowship, as well as some very good turkey and dressing! The day after I spent with Missionary Bill Kepler examining his printing ministry. We worked well into the night printing a thousand copies of my book about “Marriage” in Spanish to give away here. Most Hondurans don’t understand Marriage (as they usually are accustomed to just “living together” in their culture), and my book shows them their need to be married, rather than living in sin, and how Marriage is a type of Christ and the Church.
December 5th, I held a baptism service. I was blessed to baptize nine people! We used a church in town with a baptismal pool for the service, and I preached a message about “The Gospel.” At the invitation, a young lady named Cynthia Sanchez came forward to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She was baptized the same day along with: Jose Adonay Garcia Gomez, Olbin Francisco Herandez, Jose Edwin (Eddie) Arriaga, Emerson Neptali Sanchez, Olga Rubi Arriaga, Argentina Diaz, Rosinda Anabel Garcia Gomez, Zoila Esperanza Garcia Gomez, Jenny Cecilia Sanchez, and Cintia Balesca Sanchez.
The 6th of December I left for the States on a brief furlough. I had many churches to visit and preach in during this time, and Missionary Mike Lane filled in for me at Quebrada de Lajas while I was gone. When I called back from the states, I was overjoyed to hear that he lead Marlon Alfredo Lopez Ariaga (saved 12-12-04) and Marcia Senaida Hernandez (saved 12-19-04) to the Lord in services during my absence.
While in the states, I had the wonderful blessing of having a few new churches take me on for support. I also have the great privilege of informing you that on the 31st of December, I became engaged to Ms. Laura Beth Flood of Sarasota, Florida!
Thus, November and December were very fruitful months! Not only did I see people saved and baptized, but I’ve also been blessed with a fiancĂ©. Thanks again for all your prayers and support, and I pray the Lord will continue to guide, lead, and direct you as you trust and serve him!
Because of Christ Jesus our Lord,
Robert Breaker III
