Welcome! Here you will find all of my prayer letters written ever since I started the ministry as a Missionary to Honduras, and then as I now am as a Missionary to the Spanish-Speaking People of the Americas. We hope to update this with our current prayer letter that we send out every two months.

March - April 2008

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.  (Phil. 2:15,16)

            Dear Fellow Saints of God,

The sign of the times proves we are closer to the rapture than ever!  As our economy worsens, and the choices for president are either an ex-Muslim or a woman socialist, the future in this world looks mighty dim.  That’s why it’s more important than ever to be SHINING LIGHTS amidst a world of darkness, HOLDING FORTH THE WORD OF LIFE as faithful witnesses of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

NEWS FROM A FAR

The churches in Honduras continue strongly, and I stay in contact with them often via cell phone.  Last month, Hotir told us, “Clemente recently won an 80-year-old woman to the Lord.  She started coming to church, but died less than two weeks later.  Her drunk son beat her to death.  At least she’s now free from pain and suffering!
We also received news that Irene’s 60-year-old husband trusted Christ as his Saviour in March.  Irene is the sweet old lady in church whom everyone looks up to.  We’d been praying for her husband for years, and were excited to hear he trusted Jesus as his Saviour.

NEWS FROM THE DEPUTATION TRAIL

Most of March, I spent on the phone calling pastors and trying to set up meetings in the states.  This is my least favorite thing to do, and it seems much harder in these last days to find good sound Bible Believing churches.  But, God blessed in giving us several meetings.  March 16th, I preached in a church in Castleberry, Alabama, and the end of March, I traveled up to Richmond, Virginia and preached in a church there.
In April, I preached in a church in New Jersey, and then traveled to New York City to visit an old friend.  We had a good time of fellowship, and then saw the city, passing out tracts along the way.

NEWS FROM OUR FAMILY

The second week of April we attended a family reunion in Virginia.  We had a great time of fellowship with Laura’s family, and we told them the news.  Laura is pregnant again!  We covet your prayers during this pregnancy, as we trust God to bless us with a healthy child this time.

NEWS ON OUR FUTURE PLANS

As most of you know, my plans are to travel as the Apostle Paul and preach the Gospel on Missionary Journeys.  We are planning many trips now, but first, we have a meeting in Kansas next month, and then we plan to go to our home church in Monterrey, Mexico the end of May, where I’m to be ordained.
I have a Pastor in Honduras that wants me to come and preach for one month solid every day.  He wants me to help him start a Bible Institute, and much more.
Also, Erick Sanchez wants me to schedule a week-long teaching service in Honduras, where I’ll be talking to over 50 Pastors on the subject of the Spanish Bible Issue.  I ask you to keep these meetings in prayer.

NEWS ON OUR SMALL PRINTING MINISTRY

God has blessed us with a color Konica Magicolor Laser printer.  It’s a small machine, but works well for us, and I would like to thank my Dad for giving it to us for the ministry.
We are now able to print many more books and tracts.  This is why I’m enclosing a catalog of my works.  We’ve been receiving quite a few orders lately, and it has helped pay the bills.
We don’t charge a flat rate for the material, but ask for a gift to pay for the printing and shipping.  This has worked out well for us, and we’ve seen God bless.
As our printing ministry grows, we will be printing things in English and Spanish.  We would like to do more, but can only do the best we can.  We also could use more printing equipment.  If you have something to donate, please let me know.  Our greatest need is a cutter that trims the edges of books.

So that’s the news from the Breaker Family.  We have many plans, but with the current political situation and rising prices of gasoline, it will only get harder and harder.  Thus, we covet your prayers!

Thanks again for all your continued giving.  We appreciate your sacrifice.

            Because He loved even us,

            Robert and Laurabeth Breaker
