The last two months have gone by so quickly. It’s hard to believe it’s already September as I write this! But God is good, and even though there have been some sad times in the last two months, they were eclipsed by the good times and the blessings that God has bestowed upon us, as we continue to serve Him amidst times of heartaches and troubles.
FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS DYING
In July, I had an awful shock when my sister called and told me that one of my childhood friends had passed away at the early age of 39. He and I used to surf together all the time, and we had a lot of good times riding waves together. I was devastated when I heard the news. It took me some time to get over it. (I still can’t believe he’s gone).
Not even a week later our next door neighbor died. It, too, was very unexpected. We awoke one morning to see the police at her house, so I walked over to see what happened. I was shocked when they told me the news.
I just can’t wait until the rapture, when the Lord takes us home. It seems like so many people are dying nowadays. Won’t it be nice to be in heaven where there will be no more death or pain?
FINDING OPEN DOORS TO WITNESS EVERYWHERE
As most of you know, we take care of my 94 year-old grandmother. She used to be so independent, able to walk around and do things for herself. Sadly, she is doing poorly. In July she went to the hospital for several days, and when we brought her home she was never the same. Ever since she’s been bed-ridden. This is making it harder on us, as she takes up much of our time. But our “ministering” unto her has greatly taught us what it really means to be a “minister.”
God is good, and has given us some doctors and nurses to come and check on her, and this has opened the door for us to witness to them. Some claim to be saved, others do not. But it’s been a blessing to be able to give them the Gospel.
Because of my grandmother’s condition we are unable to leave the house much, especially together. Someone has to always be with her 24-7, so we always have to make sure we plan when we leave the house, and either Laura or I stay home while the other goes to town. Yet, when we do get to go out, I’m surprised how much we’ve been able to witness to people. All over the internet there is gossip running around about what might happen in September (Global Economic collapse, foreign invasion, an Isis terrorist attack, martial law, etc.), and I’m finding even lost people have a gut feeling that something bad is about to happen not only in America, but world-wide! They are scared to death!
That’s why it appears to have been so easy to witness to people lately, as they are a little more receptive than usual. Lots of people have been telling us how they are “prepping” and preparing for the worse, while they are still hoping for the best. And, I’m finding this is a great opportunity to tell them, “Well, don’t forget the most important thing, SPIRITUAL preparation!” From there, I give them the Gospel, and show them how to be saved.
It’s just been an amazing two months, as both Laura and I have had so many opportunities to give the Gospel to others. And, I’m so dumbfounded, as it appears that the more unable we are to travel, the more doors God is opening in giving us people to witness to, not only in person, (like those who come to our house or those we meet in town), but also on the internet and on the phone, as we continue that ministry as well. (I’ll mention that a little later in this prayer letter).
FINISHING ONLINE BIBLE INSTITUTE CLASS IN SPANISH
In August I finished up my online Bible Institute Class I was teaching in Spanish, via Skype, to some brothers in Guatemala. I taught on the subject of “Manuscript Evidence.” The students were so appreciative, and hated to see me finish the class, stating over and over again how much they learned, and how much they really enjoyed it. It was fun, and I am now able to add the notes to the other five or six Bible Institute classes I’ve taught in Spanish over the years. My ultimate goal would be someday to have a free online Bible Institute in both English and Spanish for people to go to for free to learn the Bible. Pray about this. It might never happen, as I believe time is short. But then again, it just might, and God might send someone my way to help this happen. The truth is we really need good sound Bible teaching more and more today as we see it being preached less and less.
FEEDBACK FROM MY ONLINE MINISTRY
As most of you know I started “The Cloud Church” last September, an online ministry in which I post a video sermon in English and Spanish each week, as well as various Bible Study Videos, and also a weekly verse by verse Bible study video, (we are currently going through the book of 2 Corinthians). Well, I am so surprised at how many people are calling and emailing and thanking us for this ministry. They all say the same thing, “We are finding less and less good, sound, doctrinal preaching nowadays! We appreciate you standing for the truth!”
Often we get emails from people asking about how to be saved. I often respond with a clear presentation of the Gospel, and sometimes I hear back, sometimes I don’t. Well, this month, I got two responses from people who say THEY GOT SAVED after watching my videos! What a blessing! So, for the two DEATHS that I saw these last two months, God was so good in allowing me to see two others get LIFE eternal. What an awesome God!
FINDING PEOPLE LIKE OURSELVES
Because we can’t get out much, Laura and I have been craving fellowship with other Christians. Yet, through my online ministry, we have really been getting a lot of calls from people who have seen our videos. For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been getting four or five calls daily from Christians who call to encourage us and thank us for standing for the truth and preaching the precious truths of the King James Bible. I’ve got one guy in Texas who calls just about every other morning, and gives me a pep-talk, as he discusses with me what he read that morning in the Bible.
I’ve also heard from people from Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, Ohio, California, and many other states and nations, that have watched our videos and are encouraged by them. What a blessing to find like-minded believers!
FINALLY THE VALERA 1602 PURIFIED SPANISH BIBLE BECOMES AVAILABLE
As most of you know, I use the Valera 1602 Purified Spanish Bible, the closest Spanish Bible to the King James that there is. My home church in Monterrey, Mexico is the one that put it out, and it has been hard to get a copy, as they are a small church and were unable to print large qualities. FINAL THOUGHT
I briefly mentioned all the bad stuff that’s supposed to take place in September of this year. I recently read a list of 33 things that are to take place that point to the possibility of Jesus’ return in September. So, in August, I made a video about that, and in a few days I had over 125,000 views!
If you haven’t heard about what’s supposed to take place in September, you need to watch it. You can find my video by going to Youtube, and typing in the search engine: “September 23, 2015 Robert Breaker.” That should take you right to the video.
Something may or may not take place around that time, but it is interesting just how many millions of people are expecting something big to take place. Many Christians are even saying they think it might just be that the rapture takes place during this time. I don’t know. I’m certainly not trying to “date” the rapture. But I do find it interesting how many of these things they are talking about just happen to coincide with what the Bible says will happen in the last days. Could it be that the Lord is returning in September? I hope so! If not, one thing is clear. This world is getting worse and worse, and time is short. Even so, come Lord Jesus! Keep looking up!

SOMETHING EXTRA TO THINK ABOUT
I’ve been hearing a lot lately about the modern teaching of the “Pre-Wrath Rapture.” Many ministers are quickly jumping on the bandwagon of this teaching, and throwing out the long held belief in a “Pre-Tribulation Rapture.” But I’m not so quick to do so. Why? Because the Bible warns us of the following in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2:
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Notice we are warned not to be “troubled” or “shaken in mind” and are most certainly commanded to not be “deceived” about something. What is it? That something is in the context of “the day of Christ” which is the Rapture. The long held view of the Church is that the rapture will take place FIRST, then there will be SEVEN YEARS of tribulation, which is also called the time of “Jacob’s Trouble.” (Notice it’s for Jacob, i.e. Israel, not for the Church!)
During that seven years, there is an event which takes place in the middle of it, in which the man of sin (the antichrist in a human body) dies, and is later risen again from the dead as the son of perdition, in which Satan will literally live inside him and rule for the final 3 1/2 years. The Bible is clear, that the antichrist rules for seven years total, but his first 3 1/2 years he is a man, while in the last 3 1/2 it is Satan himself that inhabits that man’s body.
This is the “Pre-tribulation” position, and what was once the Fundamentalist, Bible Believer’s view of future events.
Well, lately, I’ve found there are many who have “changed” their position on this, and they are making it a very divisive issue. (That is, unless you agree with them, you can’t be a member of their church, or have fellowship with them, etc.). And, they are claiming that “God” revealed unto them the truth of the matter, how that in their eyes the Church has been wrong all these years. They further state that only now is God revealing (through them) the truth of the matter, as they claim they are the only ones with the truth that the pre-tribulation rapture is false. To them, the “Pre-Wrath” Rapture (or mid-tribulation rapture) teaching is the correct one. (But why would Christians be in the tribulation at all?)
Does what they are teaching jive with scripture? Does the Bible teach that in the last days God will reveal the truth to us, because the Church has been wrong for so long? Or is it just the opposite: that there will be a “falling away” from the truth, or from what people once believed. Looking at verse three above, we see that this is indeed the case. There will be “deception” and a great “falling away” in the last days.
For this reason, I don’t buy into the new teaching of the “Pre-Wrath” rapture; a teaching which says that Christians will have to go through the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period. I just don’t see that in the Scriptures.
Now, what could the repercussions of such a teaching be? Think about it. What if a person believes in the pre-wrath rapture teaching that they must go through the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation before the rapture can take place. And what if they were wrong? What if they were lost when the pre-tribulation rapture did take place? Then wouldn’t their doctrine instruct them to wait only 3 1/2 years for Jesus Christ’s return? And wouldn’t they think that he would appear during that time? Wouldn’t that mean that they would end up accepting the SATAN (the son of perdition), thinking he was Jesus?
This is a horrendous teaching, for it can lead a lost person into accepting the antichrist, thinking he is Jesus Christ.
